Our History
It all began in the quietness and unwavering faith of a cold January dawn in 2005, when the pastors, clinging solely to the promise of a divine calling, opened the doors of their living room to start what is now our beloved church. Those first services were held amidst improvised chairs and a fervor that filled every corner of the home, where the initial congregation consisted of the pastoral family praying with tears and hope for a miracle. The turning point and the spark of revival came with the incorporation of the first family who decided to join that vision; with their arrival, the small living room became a sanctuary of fire where the presence of the Holy Spirit began to manifest in an extraordinary way, transforming lives and attracting more souls hungry for God. From that moment on, every season has been a living testimony of God's faithfulness and powerful hand, who opened doors where there were none, multiplied strength in times of trial, and guided every step of this path of faith. Today, looking back with gratitude and forward with expectation, we celebrate that small grain of wheat sown in a family living room has blossomed into a vibrant congregation of over 300 people, united in one mind to worship, serve, and continue writing the story of His grace to this day.

Our Mission
OUR MISSION Getsemaní Christian Church — A place of encounter with God Our mission is to lead people to a genuine encounter with Jesus Christ, guiding them through prayer, the Word of God, discipleship, and service, so that they may be transformed, grow spiritually, and live with purpose. At Getsemaní we commit to: WORSHIP — Create spaces where people can seek and experience the presence of God. TEACH — Faithfully proclaim and teach the Word of God to establish lives firm in faith. DISCIPLE — Accompany each believer in their spiritual growth, forming mature and committed followers of Christ. CONNECT — Build a spiritual family where each person is known, loved, cared for, and can grow with others. SERVE — Identify and develop the gifts God has placed in each person to build His church. REACH — Bring the gospel of Jesus Christ to our families, community, and those who still need to know Him. At Getsemaní, we dream of a church where every person can encounter God, experience His love, be transformed by His presence, and discover the purpose He has for their life. We want to be a spiritual family where prayer connects us with God, the Word forms us, the Holy Spirit empowers us, and love moves us to serve. Our vision is to reach, connect, form, and send: Reach those who need to know Christ. Connect people with God and with a spiritual family. Form mature disciples who live according to the Word. Send men and women prepared to serve, evangelize, and extend the Kingdom of God.
